Some players Genshin Impact reported that their payments in the game do not go through.
The reasons for this problem are different and may be different for each gamer. It is possible that you do not have enough money in your account or the bank has blocked the payment due to a suspicious amount.
The easiest thing to do to resolve this issue is to restart Genshin Impact and see if the payment error was temporary. If not, there are many other possible solutions.
Checking if the payment error is related to only one Genshin Impact platform and solving basic bank account issues
One of the first things you need to do is determine if you can make a payment in Genshin Impact on another device. This means if you’re on PC, try to see if the PS4, PS, Android, or iOS versions will allow you to successfully complete the payment. The game has cross saves and cross progression.
The only difficulty is that you have never tried to switch from PlayStation 4 or 5 to PC, Android or iOS, and vice versa. If you don’t have another device that works, it’s time to check out another solution.
The next idea is to check your bank account. If you don’t have enough money, you obviously need to put more money into it.
However, as mentioned earlier, if your bank finds the payments suspicious, they may block them. In this case, contact your bank to clarify that you are trying to make a payment.
Contact Customer Service
Genshin Impact is a customer service game. If all else fails, it’s worth contacting them to see their official solution to the player’s plight.
Follow these steps to get started.
- Sign in to Genshin Impact.
- Open the Paimon menu by pausing the game.
- Go to the store.
- Go to section Crystal Top-Up.
- In the lower right corner is a button labeled “Customer Service”. Click on it.
Travelers should see something similar to the following image.
Click the “View Maintenance Progress” button at the top (to the right of the maintenance progress). This will show you all the current issues you submitted, as well as a button that says “Contact CS” at the very bottom.

Genshin Impact players will see a screen similar to the one shown above (minus the colorful border, for obvious reasons). Make sure the first text box details the issue, enter your email address, and upload any images of the payment error. After that click “Submit”.
HoYoverse customer service will do their best to help you. This method won’t fix the issue instantly, but it is by far the best solution for getting a specific response to a payment error.
