According to the official interactive map, Genshin Impact 2.8 Golden Apple Archipelago has 17 locations containing loot chests, but there are actually seven more in addition to that (for a total of 24). Our guide will help you find all the chests and get valuable loot from them.
Of course, not all chests are listed on the official interactive map (at least for now). Therefore, in this article we will reveal the location of chests not marked on the map. Players must complete the Summer Journey pre-quests before they can access to this series of islands.
Genshin Impact 2.8 Guide: Where to Find All 24 Chests in the Golden Apple Archipelago
The above image shows 17 chest locations on Archipelago of the Golden Apple. As you can see, they are indeed scattered throughout the region, some of which are in the middle of the ocean. However, some players would rather see every single location, let alone the missing seven not marked on the map.
In this case, continue reading the guide to view all 24 locations.
1) Chest #1
There is a buried chest in this location, as shown in the image above. There is hydro slimesbut they shouldn’t hinder your progress.
2) Chest #2
The next location is located north of the previous one. There will be several Hilichurls nearby. Destroy the box to open a shared chest.
3) Chest #3
This is the first chest on this list that requires you to complete the Golden Apple Archipelago quest in Genshin Impact 2.8. Head here for waveguide and complete the task.
Open this exquisite chest and proceed to the next location in the Golden Apple Archipelago.
4) Chest #4
To the south of the previous three locations are platforms in the sea. In the middle is a Chest that requires you to defeat the nearby Helihurls.
5) Chest #5
This location is similar to the previous location in that players simply need to defeat a few enemies in the sea. The cryo mage is the only real threat here, especially if you don’t have a good archer.
6) Chest #6
To the northwest of the previous location are rocks visible on the world map. Go to this area to see a small arena. Defeat the enemies here.
7) Chest #7
Some chests require the player to complete certain tasks in Genshin Impact 2.8. This one is in the middle of the ocean. You will have to move from one place to another. Successfully this will spawn a Chest in front of the destination so you can’t miss it.
8) Chest #8
It’s the same story as before: defeat more enemies. This time, head northwest from where you started the challenge for the previous chest. The unique map location shown above should make it pretty obvious.
9) Chest #9
Genshin Impact 2.8 features a variety of chests that require players to defeat enemies in the Golden Apple Archipelago. It’s northwest of Pudding Island, which is just west of where you opened the chest from the second challenge.
10) Chest #10
Approach the teleport point near the Wavewalker Pier on Pudding Island and head northeast. You should be able to spot more platforms and enemies that you need to defeat in a predictable way.
11) Chest #11
Southeast of the last location is a platform far out to sea (it’s northeast of Pudding Island). Go to the above location and defeat the next enemies.
12) Chest #12
Head northwest from the last location and defeat the enemies here.
13) Chest #13
To the north of the last location, there are even more enemies to defeat.
14) Chest #14
Use the teleport waypoint to get to the central island. In the southwest corner is a Common Chest hidden behind some plants. You should notice several Hilichurls near this area.
15) Chest #15
Head west from the last island to see another platform with more enemies. Defeat them and capture Primogems and other loot.
16) Chest #16
Teleport to the northwesternmost island in the Genshin Impact 2.8 Golden Apple Archipelago and sail south to see more platforms full of enemies. No wonder you should get rid of them.
17) Chest #17
Head northeast from the last location and defeat the enemies there. The Cryo Void Mage here sometimes likes to get stuck while hovering over water, which can be annoying if you don’t have a ranged character.
18) Chest #18
Head south from the previous location and defeat the enemies on the northern beach of this nameless island.
19) Chest #19
This Genshin Impact 2.8 challenge is similar to the third place in this article, as you have to destroy the barrels within a limited time in the Golden Apple Archipelago. It is recommended to take a bow user to speed up the work. The chest will spawn very close to the challenge shown here.
20) Chest #20
On the east cliff of the north island is a balloon challenge. Complete it. preferably using an archer. The chest will spawn at the start of this Genshin Impact 2.8 challenge.
21) Chest #21
Once on the mountain, you must reach its top. It’s open.
22) Chest #22
Jump off the northwest cliff to see this challenge (it will be very close to the last location, so don’t jump too far).
You will be in the water, but that’s okay. You can still open it and move on to the next chest location.
23) Chest #23
This chest is located on the eastern mountain of the northwesternmost island. There are no tricks here, just get to the top of the mountain to see it next to a rather strange device.
24) Chest #24
The final chest of Genshin Impact 2.8 contains only mora, but some players may still want to collect it. In this case, go to the location indicated in the image above, which is not far from the Broken Isle and start this challenge. At the end there will be a chest that will give you 10,000 mora.
