The action of the third season begins a year after the previous one. In the story, after the scandal with Stormfront, the heroes lived their lives, and Huey and Butcher continued to work for the government. However, the Patriot soon begins to pose a real threat again, and the team goes in search of a weapon supposedly capable of killing superheroes.
During the season, among other things, the heroes have time to visit Russia, as well as a superhero orgy (one of the episodes was an adaptation of the Herogasm story arc from the original comics).
Just a week after the release of the first three episodes, Amazon renewed The Boys for a fourth season, and its filming, according to Karl Urban, who played the role of Billy Butcher, will start at the end of August. Perhaps this time around, fans won’t have to wait nearly two years for a sequel.
