Season 3 of the hit Star Wars series The Mandalorian has been announced along with a release date that isn’t too far off.
The Mandalorian has become beloved by Star Wars fans both for its incredible Star Wars story and for bringing us the wonder that is Grogu AKA Baby Yoda.
Season 2 of the show, released in October 2020, has been one of the most popular series on the entire Disney+ streaming service, leaving fans wondering when we’ll see Mando again.
Now fans of the series won’t have to wait too long as showrunner Jon Favreau has announced the release date.

The Mandalorian season 3 release date confirmed
During the Star Wars celebrations, Favreau announced that The Mandalorian season 3 will be released in February 2023.
The start of 2023 means that there will be almost three years between the release of seasons 2 and 3.

The announcement didn’t add any plot elements beyond the release date, but expect Mando and Grog’s story to pick up right where it left off.
The show will continue to air on Disney+, where it first exploded in popularity back in 2019.
