The series Vikings: Valhalla received the first teaser

Netflix has released a teaser trailer for Vikings: Valhalla, which will be released on the streaming platform on February 25. The video appeared in the official accounts of the service on Youtube.

In the video, you can see some of the heroes of the future show, such as King Canute the Great, the navigator Leif Eriksson, as well as Edmund Ironside and Harald Sigurdsson. The teaser shows scenes of the defense of London from the Danes at the beginning of the 11th century.

The series will tell about the events related to the plot of another multi-episode project – Vikings, which aired on the History TV channel from 2013 to 2020. The creators of the show note, however, that the action of the new series will not be directly related to the old one.

All episodes of Vikings: Valhalla will be released on Netflix at the same time. They will feature Sam Corlett, Frida Gustavsson, Leo Suter, Bradley Frigard, Johannes Heikur Johannesson, David Oakes, Laura Berlin and Carolyn Henderson.

Vikings creators Michael Hurst and Jeb Stewart will serve as executive producers on the project. Stewart will also serve as showrunner for the series. Directed by Steve Saint Ledger, Nils Arden Plev and Hannah Quinn.
